Join our growing team as a Press Brake Operator. In this role, you will set up and operate press brake equipment, interpret technical drawings, and produce high-quality metal components while meeting production, quality, and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
- Select tooling, adjust machine settings, and program CNC controls as required.
- Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and protractors.
- Troubleshoot machine and production issues to maintain workflow and quality standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Safely move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, or other equipment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of press brake operation experience, including machine setup and adjustment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of precision measuring tools and quality inspection processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Employment Details:
- Starting Wage: Dependent on experience.
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm (40 hours per week).
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 4:15pm to 2:15am (40 hours per week).
