PIPE LAYER HELPER – Water & Sewer Construction WCL is looking for a Pipe Layer Helper with experience in underground water and sewer construction to support our pipe crews following earthworks. If you understand underground work and know how to work safely and efficiently in a trench, we want you on our team. WHAT YOU NEED:
Previous experience in underground water and sewer construction.
Experience assisting with pipe installation, bedding, backfill, and trench work.
Ability to help set pipe, check line and grade, and maintain proper alignment.
Comfortable working in trenches around excavators and other equipment.
Good understanding of trench safety and underground job site practices.
Physically able to work long hours outdoors in all weather conditions.
Able to take direction from pipe layers, foremen, and operators.
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
REQUIRED TICKETS:
Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain).
SCHEDULE:
7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
6 days on / 1 day off.
Weather dependent work.
