Carpenter

Forefront Construction Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in New Brunswick.Position: Carpenter.Location: Scoudouc, NB and various job sites.Employment: Permanent, full-time.Hours: 40 hours per week.Wage: $28.00 per hour.
Requirements:

• 5 years or more of carpentry experience.
• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Ability to read plans and take accurate measurements.
• Experience with framing, renovations, repairs and finishing work.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• English required.

Duties:

• Construct, repair and renovate residential and commercial structures.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood and other materials.
• Build and install walls, floors, roofs, subfloors and framing components.
• Install doors, windows, trim and other finishing materials.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
• Perform structural repairs and renovation work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow company and job-site safety procedures.

Trade certification is not required.
