The opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated GIS Analyst to join our team in our Calgary office. In this role you will be responsible for providing GIS expertise to support environmental and engineering projects through the development, management, and visualization of spatial data.

What you'll do:
- Contribute technical expertise to a variety of projects within our environmental and engineering subsidiaries.
- Prepare figures, maps and data sets following company standards
- Create and manage spatial and tabular data.
- Develop applications for field-based staff
- Manage time and budget for assigned tasks.
- Contribute to business development, proposal writing, and fostering client relationship.
Does this sound like you?
- Undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) in a relevant field and/or applied technological program (graduate degree preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in a professional or consulting environment is an asset.
- Proficiency with ArcGIS, ArcPro and ArcGIS Online; experience with QGIS, Manifold GIS, and Global Mapper is an asset.
- Programming skills in SQL and Python is an asset.
- Experience with remote sensing and drones is an asset.
- Strong time management and organizational ability.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to details.
- Ability to follow direction and take initiative.
- Ability to think strategically.
