Heavy Equipment Mechanic or 310T with Heavy Equipment Experience
Location -Utopia
Compensation:

• Starting rate: $46.66/hour
• Post-probation rate: $51.07/hour (after approximately 3 months)

Position Overview: Heavy Equipment Mechanic or 310T with Heavy Equipment
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, machinery, and vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. You will work both independently and collaboratively to maintain industrial mobile equipment, utilizing trade tools, diagnostic devices, and power lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on lift trucks and other heavy equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced shop environment
• Complete assigned maintenance and repair tasks accurately and within established timeframes

Qualifications: Heavy Equipment Mechanic or 310T with Heavy Equipment

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) or Red Seal Truck and Coach Technician (310T) with significant heavy equipment experience
• Experience maintaining and repairing diesel lift trucks, loaders, and other heavy industrial equipment
• Experience with Diesel Mi-Jack Gantry Cranes is an asset
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and welding is an asset
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English
• Self-motivated with strong prioritization skills and the ability to recommend corrective actions
• Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies and processes
