Stand-Up Reach Operator

We are currently recruiting an experienced Stand-Up Reach Operator for our client in Mississauga. With us, you receive:

Stand-Up Reach OperatorLocation: Mississauga, ON (Innovator Dr & Ambassador Dr)
Shift: Day Shift | Monday to Thursday | 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
Schedule: 10-hour shifts
IMPORTANT – STAND-UP REACH EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY Candidates MUST have previous hands-on experience operating a Stand-Up Reach forklift. This is not an entry-level forklift position and training on the Stand-Up Reach will not be provided. Candidates must be confident, comfortable, and able to operate a Stand-Up Reach safely and efficiently in a working warehouse environment. Quolifications: • Previous Stand-Up Reach forklift operating experience – MANDATORY
• Must be able to successfully complete a practical Stand-Up Reach forklift assessment prior to starting
• Valid forklift licence/certification
• Clamp forklift experience is an asset
• Previous warehouse/material-handling experience
• Comfortable loading, unloading, moving, and wrapping skids
• Able to complete shipping logs and basic warehouse paperwork accurately
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent work experience Responsibilities • Safely and efficiently operate a Stand-Up Reach forklift
• Operate Clamp equipment when required and qualified
• Stage stock for cutting and supply materials to Bindery and Press departments
• Move finished skids and assist with wrapping and banding skids
• Load and unload trucks
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
• Rotate paper, trays, and supplies to ensure older inventory is used first
• Complete daily safety inspections on lift equipment
• Complete shipping logs and verify paperwork and skid counts
• Monitor and complete required humidification system checks and logs
• Maintain salt levels and report equipment issues as required
• Empty bins, sweep, and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Only candidates with demonstrated Stand-Up Reach experience will be considered for this position.
