The Marketing Specialist
is a versatile marketing professional responsible for building LBMX's brand presence and pipeline across content, demand generation, social media, and events. This role creates the content and campaigns that educate the market, equips the sales team with the materials they need to sell, and brings LBMX's story to life through video and social channels. The Marketing Specialist also plays a key role in marketing support for Accelerate, LBMX's annual executive summit for buying group leaders. Working closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and the sales team, the Marketing Specialist helps ensure marketing activity translates directly into qualified pipeline and revenue.

Positions Available: 1

What you will do:

  • Plan, write, and publish content – blog posts, case studies, white papers, and web copy – that speaks to buying groups, suppliers, and independent retailers.
  • Maintain and evolve LBMX's content calendar, ensuring a steady cadence of content aligned to campaigns and industry moments.
  • Keep messaging consistent with LBMX's brand voice and market positioning across all content.
  • Build and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns (email, web, paid, and organic) to drive qualified leads for the sales team.
  • Manage marketing automation and CRM workflows to nurture leads through the funnel, and report on campaign performance against pipeline targets.
  • Partner with the Chief Revenue Officer and sales leadership to align campaigns with revenue priorities and target accounts.
  • Own LBMX's day-to-day social media presence (primarily LinkedIn), planning and publishing content that builds brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor social channels, engage with the LBMX community, and track performance metrics to refine what's working.
  • Create and maintain sales collateral – pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, and proposal templates – that help the sales team tell a consistent, compelling story.
  • Act as a liaison between marketing and sales, gathering feedback from the field to keep materials sharp and relevant.
  • Support onboarding of new sales hires with marketing and product messaging training.
  • Support planning and promotion of Accelerate, LBMX's annual executive summit for buying group leaders, including pre-event marketing, on-site materials, and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate with the events team and external partners to ensure marketing deliverables (invitations, signage, presentations, attendee communications) are ready on schedule.
  • Capture and repurpose Accelerate content (sessions, testimonials, highlights) into marketing assets used throughout the year.
  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content – customer testimonials, product walkthroughs, event recaps, and social clips – using in-house tools and freelance or contract support as needed.

What you will bring:

  • 2–4 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally in B2B software, SaaS, or a related industry.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of content the candidate can point to.
  • Hands-on experience with demand generation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, or similar) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Comfort managing social media channels and analyzing performance data to inform strategy.
  • Basic video editing skills (e.g., Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar) and an eye for what makes video content engaging.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines without dropping the ball.
  • A collaborative mindset and comfort working closely with sales and revenue teams.
  • Experience supporting live events or conferences is an asset.
  • Excellent written communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • High degree of professionalism, initiative, accountability, and ability to work independently.
