Richelieu Hardware is looking for a driven and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our Calgary Alberta branch.

More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to:

  • Sales Growth & Business Development: Proactively identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within your territory.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.

  • Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of Richelieu's product portfolio, including hardware solutions for woodworking, construction, and related industries.

  • Client Engagement & Sales Execution: Conduct in-person meetings, product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to successfully close sales.

  • Performance & Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales objectives while maximizing profitability.

  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, and prompt resolution of customer inquiries or concerns.

Requirements :

  • 3 -5 years of experience in outside sales and/or business development, with a proven ability to prospect and grow new accounts

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated, results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
