Ideally, the candidate should have:
- A current and valid Ontario Master Electrician licence received minimum 5 years ago, meaning that he was working after receiving the license 5 years ago.
- 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician certification
- Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical experience minimum 5 years.
- Excellent knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and ESA requirements
- Ability to read, interpret and understand electrical drawings.
- Ability to prepare electrical estimates, take-offs and quotations
- Experience supervising electricians and managing electrical projects
- Good communication and leadership skills
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility for electrical operations and compliance
- Experience with an electrical contracting company would be an asset
