Customer Care Logistics Representative - Hybrid Role - Direct Hire

We are looking for an experienced Customer Care Logistics Representative to join our client's team in Markham, ON, acting as a liaison between clients, brokers, and customers to ensure satisfaction. This is a hybrid role - you will work out of the Markham office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and work from home the other 3 days per week. This is a direct hire position - you will be hired on directly by our client. Salary: $45,000-50,000/year Responsibilities: - Create, process, confirm, and trace customer orders - Consult on issues related to inventory availability and report shortages and advise back in stock plans with customers - Manage customer inquiries submitted through inbox, maintain documentation of customer requirements, and update customer portals - Plan and optimize freight loads - Provide recommendations/solutions to improve overall service - Assist visitors to the office - Other duties as required Qualifications: - College Diploma or Certificate program in relevant field - Experience in Customer Service/Order Desk (2-3 years minimum) - Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc) - Experience/knowledge of freight/supply chain concepts is a strong asset - Experience in food industry is a strong asset - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - Strong problem-solving skills - High attention to detail - Strong organizational skills - Strong multitasking ability - Able to work efficiently independently or as part of a team Apply now!
