Board Supervisor

We are looking to fill a permanent Board Supervisor position at our P.J. White Hardwoods warehouse in Vancouver.

If you have an interest in warehousing and transportation, and are recognized as an autonomous, versatile and reliable individual, this position is for you.

Reporting to management, your role will include supporting day-to-day operations, managing people, monitoring indicators, generating reports, sporadically replacing the manager in his absence.

More specifically, your main tasks will be:

• Provide administrative support to your manager.

• Support day-to-day operations.

• Manage people.

• Generate reports.

• Monitor teamwork schedules.

• Lead CSST meetings.

Requirements:

• A degree in administration, logistics or a related field.

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar position in administration, logistics or related fields.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

• Bilingualism (written and spoken).

• Ability to manage several files at the same time and a good sense of priorities.

• Efficient, skilful and professional.

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to resolve conflicts.

• Rigorous, well organized, and able to manage several files simultaneously.

• Ethical, professional, confidential, and discreet.

• Resourceful and self-reliant.
