Job Summary

One Step Security is seeking professional, reliable, and vigilant Security Guards to provide static and mobile security services at client properties throughout the GTA.

Ideal Candidate

A dependable and professional individual who is alert, customer-service oriented, safety-conscious, and able to remain calm and make sound decisions in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Protect clients, properties, employees, visitors, and assets.

• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned locations.

• Monitor entrances, exits, CCTV, parking areas, and restricted areas.

• Control access and prevent unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, and trespassing.

• Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.

• Prepare accurate occurrence and incident reports.

• Communicate professionally with clients, the public, emergency services, and supervisors.

• Follow site-specific procedures, company policies, and applicable laws.

• For mobile positions, conduct scheduled patrols and property inspections using company vehicles.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.

• Previous security experience is an asset.

• Valid driver's licence for mobile positions.

• Strong communication and report-writing skills.

• Professional appearance and conduct.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

• First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
