Position Overview

Sycle is seeking a highly analytical and technical Technical Business Analyst to partner directly with our Product Management team on a high-stakes enterprise account. In this role, you will get deep into the technical weeds—investigating legacy software systems, analyzing complex workflows, mapping out data, and translating detailed findings into clear recommendations for engineering and client stakeholders.

This role is critical in helping a major enterprise client transition from a heavily customized, legacy system onto Sycle's modern SaaS platform. You will serve as the engine behind workflow mapping and system investigation while keeping cross-functional teams organized and delivery on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systems & Workflow Analysis: Perform detailed mapping of clinical, ordering, purchasing, and operational workflows across both "as-is" legacy environments and "to-be" SaaS platform states.
  • Deep Data & System Investigation: Independently investigate complex technical problems, conduct deep data analysis, write database queries, establish KPIs, and analyze system behaviors with minimal guidance.
  • Scrum Facilitation & Agile Delivery: Own and facilitate key Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos to ensure predictable team delivery.
  • Technical Documentation: Author high-quality documentation that bridges high-level business goals and granular technical requirements, tailoring communication for both technical teams and client executives.
  • Project Ownership & Organization: Maintain project artifacts, track risks, dependencies, and decisions, and proactively collaborate with Engineering to obtain and validate updates.
  • AI-Enabled Productivity: Leverage modern AI tools to streamline research, documentation, data analysis, and daily workflows to accelerate delivery speed.
  • Client Engagement: Participate directly in enterprise client meetings, providing clear, accurate, and timely updates on technical workstreams and process maps.

Qualifications

  • Healthcare / Clinical Workflow Domain Knowledge: Strong preference for experience in audiology, clinical management, or allied healthcare domains (e.g., chiropractic, physical therapy) to quickly grasp complex patient and operational workflows.
  • Enterprise Client Experience: Proven track record working directly on high-touch enterprise accounts where priorities shift rapidly and stakeholder management is critical.
  • Technical Rigor: Proven ability to dive into technical details, write queries, review system architecture, and understand data models without needing constant engineering support.
  • High Adaptability & Stress Management: Strong emotional intelligence and resilience when navigating ambiguity, tight deadlines, client pressure, and shifting product priorities.
  • Strong Agile / Scrum Skills: Hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing project deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear prose and concise client updates.

Benefits

  • Healthcare: 100% employer-paid employee-only premium.
  • Time Off: 14 paid holidays, 12 vacation days, 4 personal days, and 6 sick days.
  • RRSP: Up to 4% matching on contributions of 5% or more.
  • Perks: $50/month internet stipend, $50/month transit (Vancouver), and tuition reimbursement.

How to Apply

To apply, please submit your resume. If you're going to submit a cover letter please focus on how your previous experience relates to this role and why you would be a good fit. Please include your LinkedIn profile in both your resume and in the designated application field.
