Key Requirements:
- College or university education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–2 years of mechanical design/drafting experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, custom steel fabrication, or bulk material handling environment is an asset.
- Advanced AutoCAD and Inventor skills are required.
- Experience with Solid Edge is considered an asset.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft AX, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
- Knowledge of raw materials including sheet, plate, pipe/tube, and round bar.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how components are manufactured and assembled.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Shifts:
- Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
