Brandt Tractor Ltd. is currently seeking a Territory Manager-Material Handling for our Regina Construction and Forestry location.

The Territory Manager - Material Handling role is vital in the creation, fostering, and growing of Customer relationships within the defined area of responsibility (AOR) with the goal of increasing sales and rental revenue of New and Used Wholegoods. A successful Territory Manager (TM) will drive sales of forklift and/or other material handling equipment in their assigned territory. This role will be very influential in the overall growth of Brandt Material Handling business within the assigned territory.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Sell both New and Used material handling equipment within the designated Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Travel entire AOR to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.
  • Be fully engaged with growing our customer base by: Growing our share of our existing customer base's Acquiring new customers Identifying Key Strategic Customers (existing & new), and executing a growth plan
  • Building relationships Keep current on customers' business activities and changing needs.
  • Prepare and maintain customer status reports including (but not limited to):
  • Sales call activities Customer Lists (both current and prospect accounts)
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR.
  • Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
  • Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage travel requirements and expenses in a timely manner.
  • Other projects/duties as required.
What We Look For
  • Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
  • Ability to present and negotiate with potential customers.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious and energetic entrepreneurial outlook.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft office suite.
  • Must be available to travel as needed; a recent driver's abstract and valid passport are required. B
  • eing bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
