Queen City Distillers is a proud, Saskatchewan-made brand committed to crafting premium spirits and delivering memorable guest experiences through its products, tastings, events, and venue offerings including: a retail liquor store, sports bar, premium wine and spirits bar, elevated restaurant, speakeasy and a 1,500-person live music venue. As the brand grows, there is a strong opportunity to build meaningful awareness and engagement through consistent, high-quality marketing execution and content creation.

Social Media Planning & Management
• Develop and execute weekly and monthly social media calendars aligned to brand priorities, campaigns, and events.
• Create and publish content across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn where applicable).
• Manage community engagement including responding to DMs, comments, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor social performance and recommend optimizations to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.

Content Creation (Photo/Video/Graphic Support)
• Capture basic photo and video content for products, events, venue experiences, and day-to-day brand storytelling.
• Edit content into platform-ready assets (Reels, stories, posts, promotional graphics).
• Use Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Suite to design and update marketing materials, signage, and promotional assets.
• Support the creation of digital and print materials including posters, menus, ads, invitations, and promotional flyers.

Website & Digital Content Management
• Maintain and update website content including event listings, product information, promotions, job postings, blog posts, news stories and venue details.
• Support email marketing efforts including drafting, formatting, and scheduling newsletters and promotional sends.
• Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Manage business information on Google My Business, and other related platforms.
• Manage and respond to all reviews across Google, Yelp, OpenTable and other like-platforms.

Campaign & Event Support
• Plan and support promotional campaign rollouts including asset creation, social posting, and in-venue marketing support.
• Assist in marketing the complex's event calendar, including special announcements, retail promotions, concerts, special nights, tastings, tours, special releases, and venue activations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and ensure marketing timelines are met.

Digital Strategy & Performance Marketing
• Oversee portfolio-wide digital strategy including web, social, email, content platforms, and paid media.
• Implement and manage performance marketing tools, analytics dashboards, and reporting systems to track KPIs and improve results.
• Ensure marketing investments and campaign decisions are guided by measurable outcomes and ROI.

Brand & Community Support
• Support local partnerships, collaborations, and cross-promotions that grow brand visibility and community engagement.
• Help maintain brand voice and ensure content reflects quality, authenticity, and premium positioning.
• Identify and propose creative marketing ideas that support growth goals and seasonal initiatives.


What we are looking for

• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or content creation (internship experience considered).
• Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field is considered an asset.
• Experience with Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, etc.) or equivalent tools.
• Experience with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, or similar.

Required Skills
• Basic photography and video skills, including shooting and editing short-form content.
• Organized, reliable, and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for events or content capture as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of social media platforms, posting tools, and content best practices.
