We are currently seeking a Warehouseperson / Delivery Driver to join our Peterbilt dealership in Sudbury. The Warehouseperson is responsible responsible for inventory control in a warehouse environment, and is responsible for transporting automotive or equipment parts safely and efficiently between warehouses, suppliers, and customers while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

This role also involves verifying orders, maintaining delivery records, and providing friendly, reliable service to support daily operations.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Work with all parts department and customer service staff to ensure fill rate goals are achieved
  • Pick, pack parts as per issued pick list and complete the required documentation to ship orders with in the set guidelines
  • Locate inventory in the proper location and enter the related information into ERP system
  • Work to load trucks with finished goods
  • Inspecting outgoing shipments for damage during the loading process
  • Counting of inventory as required
  • Operate truck in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life
  • Perform and document daily vehicle inspections, as well as
  • Care and maintenance of delivery truck, and advise supervisor of any defects or requirements for maintenance or repair
  • Maintain daily trip records
  • Ensure timely and courteous deliveries
  • Assist with rental calls and rental check overs
  • Keeps area clean and in order at all times
  • Other duties as assigned
What We Look For
  • Previous experience in parts delivery and collection
  • General knowledge of computers and various software applications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience operating forklifts
  • Must have good positive communication skills and good attendance
  • Must be physically fit to manually handle all goods, steel and products as required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to plan & organize in a self-directed environment
