About the role
Pangeo Group is an automotive parts manufacturer with seven manufacturing bases and three R&D centres across North America, Asia and Europe. Its main products are power system components, interior and exterior parts, and precision molds. Pangeo Corporation was established in Windsor, Ontario in 1993, and the group is now building its first North American die casting plant in Vaughan.
As Corporate Services Manager, you own the corporate work that keeps a multi-entity group running — commercial leases, insurance, immigration administration, corporate records, contracts and statutory filings. Today it has no single owner. You will take it, own it and build it into a function, with real deadlines from day one. You will not be the lawyer, broker or immigration consultant; you will know when to bring one in.
Responsibilities
Corporate and legal administration
  • Maintain corporate records, entity filings and registrations across Ontario and US entities.
  • Run contract administration: intake, routing to counsel, execution, filing and renewal tracking.
  • Coordinate regulatory and environmental filings with EHS, and hold the master statutory calendar.
Insurance and risk administration
  • Manage the broker relationship and annual renewals across property, liability, fleet and certificates.
  • Ensure coverage matches operations as actually run, and manage claims to closure.
Leases and tenancy
  • Own the lease portfolio: commencement and renewal dates, estoppel certificates, CAM reconciliation, landlord obligations.
  • Act as primary contact for landlords and property managers on notices, consents and approvals.
  • Interface with the Facilities Manager, who owns building operations. You own the lease and its obligations.
Immigration and mobility administration
  • Administer the employer side of work permit and visa files for China–North America transfers, with counsel.
  • Maintain employer portals and programs, and track file status and renewal dates with HR.
Building the function
  • Run a weekly intake so new corporate items route to an owner, not to an executive.
  • Select and manage external providers — counsel, brokers, consultants — against agreed scopes and fees.
What we're looking for
  • Ownership. You take the whole item, not your part of it. Nothing comes back half-finished.
  • Deadline discipline. Statutory dates do not move. You track them and raise the alarm early.
  • Judgment. You know what you decide, what counsel decides, and what needs an officer's signature.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. This function does not exist yet. You build the process while running it.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in corporate administration, lease administration, corporate services, senior office management, or a corporate paralegal or law clerk role.
  • Demonstrated ownership of at least two of: commercial leases, corporate immigration, insurance renewals, entity filings, contract administration.
  • Post-secondary education in business, law clerk or paralegal studies, or real property administration. A designation (Law Clerk, RPA/FMA, CIP, RCIC) an asset.
  • Manufacturing or multi-entity corporate experience an asset; cross-border Canada–US or Canada–China an asset. Valid driver's licence.
We do not expect all of this in one person. Strength in two or three streams, with the will to learn the rest, is enough.
How the role is measured (your KPIs)
  • Statutory and contractual deadlines met — filings, renewals, permit and visa expiries. Target: zero missed.
  • Insurance coverage verified against operations as run, on a set review cycle.
  • Executive time released: corporate items routed to a VP, reported monthly.
Targets are set and reviewed internally each year as the function matures.
Salary Range:
CAD 85,000 to 105,000
