Production Floor Coordinator

Position: Full-Time
Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (subject to change based on business needs)
Department: Operations

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily production activities across dough making, cookie forming, packing, shipping/receiving, and inventory.
• Assign staff to production lines and monitor workflow and productivity.
• Ensure production targets, order requirements, quality, food safety, and health & safety standards are met.
• Monitor equipment issues, maintenance, and repairs.
• Identify bottlenecks and minimize production downtime.
• Coordinate materials, packaging, labels, and production paperwork.
• Conduct shift handovers, start-up/crossover meetings, and floor inspections.
• Report production issues, downtime, and team performance to the Operations Manager.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in production/manufacturing, preferably food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and health & safety standards is an asset.
