Carpenter Apprentice

The Carpenter Apprentice plays a crucial supporting role in various construction projects, including residential, commercial, and renovation work. Under periodic supervision, this apprentice will gain hands-on experience and develop skills through formal apprenticeships and occasional travel to different job sites. The role involves assisting skilled craftsmen with essential carpentry tasks while adhering to safety standards and maintaining efficient work site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Cut and measure wood materials accurately
• Maintain hand and power tools in proper working condition
• Comply with all safety procedures and regulations
• Handle and transport materials on site
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Clean and organize the job site regularly
• Support skilled craftsmen with various carpentry tasks
• Set up and prepare equipment for daily work

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Ability to interpret blueprints
• Knowledge of safety procedures
