Looking for experienced CNC Programmers to start immediately!
- Full-time position – 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Hourly Rate: $32.00 - $35.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Job Location: Mississauga (Dixie & Lakeshore Rd, East)
The CNC Programmer is responsible for reading and interpreting shop drawings to create 3D programs for CNC routers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Creates 3D programs for 3-axis and 5-axis wood CNC routers using Mastercam 22 and up, Mastercam 2017 or Mastercam 2018.
- Reads and interprets shop drawings.
- Collaborates with engineers, internal process partners such as Molding Department Leader, CNC Operators, Project Managers, external customers, and suppliers.
- Assists project teams with the physical assembly of prototypes.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Proficiency with solid modeling using 3D CNC and CAD software.
- Knowledge of 5-axis programming using Mastercam.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and manufacturing processes.
- Awareness of industry and government safety standards.
