The Pickle Barrel is hiring a Line Cook at our London location!
The Pickle Barrel began with a mission. We believed that amazing dining experiences didn't need to be elitist, so we began a restaurant that combined ‘quality' with ‘incredible value'. Today we have restaurants across the Greater Toronto, our menu has 300 items and we have over 1,000 employees.

What you will do in this role:

• Complete line checks to ensure that enough product is prepared and kept ready for service

• Ensure the quality of food is outstanding each and every time

• Plate food according to specifications to create a Perfect Dining Experience

• Perform opening and closing procedures as instructed

• Keep your work area, utensils and product equipment in a clean, sanitized state at all times

• Control waste and spoilage

• Follow safe food handling procedures at all times

• Adhere to all Food Safety policies and procedures

• Complete Food Safety logs

What we are looking for:

• Bonus points for previous experience as a Line Cook

• Excellent communication, organization and social skills

• Energetic and self-confident with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Follows standards and procedures

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment

• Reliable and punctual

• Ability to work a flexible schedule

• Willing to help with prep and dishes as needed

• Food Safety certified or willing to obtain within 3 months
