Technical Consultant - Offshore

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant to join our offshore consulting team on a part-time, hourly contract basis. This role is ideal for a highly experienced NetSuite technical professional who can work independently, collaborate with functional consultants and project teams, and deliver scalable technical solutions.

The Senior Technical Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions within the NetSuite platform.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with NetSuite development and customization, including SuiteScript, integrations, workflows, data migration, and technical troubleshooting. The consultant should be comfortable translating functional requirements into reliable and maintainable technical solutions.

This is an offshore, part-time contract position paid on an hourly basis, with hours varying depending on project requirements and business needs.

• Design, develop, and implement technical solutions within Oracle NetSuite.
• Develop and maintain NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript and related technologies.
• Build and support integrations between NetSuite and third-party applications.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate functional specifications into technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, project managers, developers, and clients.
• Develop, test, debug, and deploy scripts, workflows, custom records, forms, and other NetSuite customizations.
• Support integration development using APIs, web services, REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
• Participate in data migration activities, including data transformation, validation, and technical troubleshooting.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and performance-related problems.
• Conduct technical testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
• Prepare technical documentation, including solution designs, integration specifications, and deployment documentation.
• Participate in technical discovery sessions and contribute to solution architecture discussions.
• Assess existing customizations and integrations and recommend improvements when appropriate.
• Support releases, deployments, upgrades, and post-go-live technical activities.
• Follow development standards, security practices, and NetSuite best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and consultants when required.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle NetSuite in a technical capacity.
• Strong experience with SuiteScript 2.x and NetSuite customization.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite architecture, objects, records, workflows, roles, permissions, and customization capabilities.
• Experience developing and troubleshooting NetSuite integrations.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, RESTlets, and/or other integration technologies.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript.
• Experience with debugging, testing, deployment, and technical troubleshooting in NetSuite.
• Ability to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience working collaboratively with functional consultants and project teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.

• NetSuite certifications such as SuiteCloud Developer, SuiteFoundation, or other relevant certifications.
• Experience with SuiteScript 2.0/2.1.
• Experience with RESTlets, Suitelets, Map/Reduce, User Event, Client, and Scheduled Scripts.
• Experience with NetSuite integrations using REST, SOAP, middleware, or iPaaS platforms.
• Experience with Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar integration platforms.
• Experience with SQL, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL, or saved searches.
• Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and development deployment processes.
• Experience with complex data migration projects.
• Experience working with international or North American clients.
• Previous experience working in a NetSuite consulting or professional services environment.
