Our client is seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support daily store operations and deliver exceptional service to contractors, suppliers, and retail customers. This role combines customer service, sales support, order processing, inventory coordination, and invoicing responsibilities to ensure a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced trade and retail environment. Key Responsibilities - Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in person, by phone, and via email with product inquiries, quotations, and purchases. - Process sales transactions, customer orders, invoices, and billing accurately using POS and inventory management systems. - Prepare and follow up on product quotations to support sales growth and customer retention. - Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and delivery scheduling. - Maintain inventory accuracy through stock counts, shelf replenishment, pricing updates, and inventory record management. - Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding product availability, lead times, and purchasing requirements. - Support store operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and professional retail environment while contributing to process improvements and promotional initiatives. Qualifications - 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, retail sales, trade supply sales, billing, or invoicing roles. - Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. - Experience preparing quotations, processing invoices, and handling payments or account reconciliations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach. - Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy environment. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS systems, inventory software, and other business applications. - Experience working with contractors, suppliers, construction materials, or trade customers is considered an asset.
