The candidate will work with a team of accountants, lawyers and tax professionals. A confident individual who demonstrates initiative and motivation toward continuous improvement of self and firm processes, and who operates with a sense of urgency, and is looking to add value to their clients in a meaningful way is recommended for this position.

Primary Responsibilities

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of tax concepts and application of tax knowledge as it relates to US federal income tax compliance.
Prepare and review of US personal tax returns, including Forms 1040, and 1040NR.
Prepare and review international forms, including FinCEN 114, 3520/3520-A, 5471, 8858, 8621, and 8865.
Research and analyze U.S. tax compliance issues, including, but not limited to residency status, income sourcing, foreign tax credits and treaty positions.
Provide daily guidance, coaching, and technical development to junior tax team members.

Skills And Experience

Minimum 3+ years of relevant US tax experience
Completion of US CPA/EA or working towards completion, preferred.
Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
Results-oriented with a sense of urgency. Quick learner, self-starter and exudes a “can do” attitude.
Passion to learn and grow and be an integral part of a high-performing team.
