Hanover Honda is expanding our service department team! We are currently hiring a dedicated Automotive Service Advisor to manage client relationships, coordinate with our shop technicians, and deliver a seamless repair experience for our Honda owners.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end guest experience from initial service drive arrival to final vehicle hand-off
  • Conduct thorough intake interviews to document client concerns, vehicle symptoms, performance expectations, and contact details
  • Generate and manage comprehensive Repair Orders, precise cost estimates, client authorizations, and required administrative files
  • Effectively communicate diagnostic findings from technicians alongside factory-recommended maintenance schedules based on vehicle health
  • Secure and log official customer approvals prior to initiating any extra service or repair work
  • Maintain seamless communication with technicians, parts specialists, the warranty administrator, and the Service BDC
  • Track the status of active shop repairs to provide proactive client updates regarding repair costs, parts delays, and ETAs
  • Verify repair accuracy, final invoicing, and valid warranty coverage parameters prior to signing off on vehicle release
  • Provide clear, professional breakdowns of completed shop labor, billing charges, and upcoming preventative maintenance needs
  • Handle customer payment transactions and execute all necessary Repair Order closing procedures in the dealership system
  • Address guest inquiries directly, ensuring swift escalation to management for any complex or unresolved concerns
  • Execute assigned customer satisfaction follow-up tasks to maintain strong client retention

What We Look For:

  • Proven track record in face-to-face customer care, team communication, and organized task follow-through
  • Capability to balance a high volume of guest interactions and competing shop priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • High level of operational accuracy, attention to detail, and practical decision-making skills
  • High comfort level utilizing digital dealership software and modern communication systems
  • Prior automotive experience is an asset
  • Valid Ontario driver's licence and ability to operate customer vehicles safely, where required by the position
  • Experience with PBS software is considered an asset
