About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our aviation team in Winnipeg. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of aircraft operations through high-quality maintenance practices, regulatory compliance, inspections, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for an AME with M1 or M1/M2 licensing and experience working on aircraft such as the Beechcraft King Air B200.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems, including engines, landing gear, instruments, and electronic systems.

• Perform routine, preflight, postflight, and scheduled inspections in accordance with aviation standards and regulatory requirements.

• Diagnose mechanical and electronic issues and complete repairs to ensure aircraft reliability and operational readiness.

• Operate diagnostic and testing equipment to assess aircraft systems and structural integrity.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and related activities.

• Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to support safe and efficient aircraft operations.

• Maintain hangar facilities, tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and operational condition.

• Follow all applicable Transport Canada regulations, company procedures, and workplace safety requirements.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence – M1 minimum; M1/M2 preferred.

• Experience working on Beechcraft King Air B200 is required/preferred.

• PC-12 experience is considered an asset.

• Citation 560 experience is an asset; training and type course will be provided.

• PC-24 experience is an asset; type course will be provided.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain Transport Canada security clearance (RAIC).

• Valid Canadian Driver's Licence with no restrictions.

• Ability to obtain and maintain an Airside Vehicle Operator Permit (AVOP).

• Valid Canadian Passport with ability to travel unrestricted.

• Indigenous Awareness and/or Cultural Diversity training is considered an asset.

Working Conditions

• Winnipeg: 7 days on / 7 days off.

• Northern locations: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.

• 12-hour shifts, including days and evenings.

• Work is performed in hangars, repair stations, and on airport ramps/tarmac.

• Exposure to varying weather conditions while working outdoors.

• Work environment can be noisy due to aircraft engines and machinery.

• Physical requirements include standing, sitting, climbing, lifting, and carrying equipment/materials up to 50 lbs.

• May involve exposure to and handling of fuels, oils, chemicals, and other hazardous materials while following appropriate safety procedures and using required PPE.
