Automotive Service Technician

We are hiring NOW and are looking for Automotive Service Technicians and Apprentices to join our busy automotive service team.

Whether you're an experienced technician looking for a better opportunity or an apprentice looking for a shop that will help you develop your skills, we want to hear from you.

Experienced Automotive Technicians: Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level.

Apprentices: We are willing to support eligible candidates through their Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship.

Immediate positions are available.

Depending on your experience and certification level, your responsibilities may include:

• Oil, lube and filter services
• Tire installation, rotation and balancing
• Brake inspection and repair
• Suspension and steering repairs
• Exhaust system repairs and replacement
• Four-wheel alignments
• Vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Diagnostic work using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
• Drivability diagnosis and repairs
• Preparing accurate vehicle reports and estimates
• Identifying and reporting unsafe vehicle conditions
• Working closely with Service Advisors, Licensed Technicians and the Service Manager
• Following all required health and safety procedures

Training is available for the right candidate.

✔ Motivated automotive technicians looking to advance their skills

You should have:

• Automotive service experience or relevant training
• A valid Ontario driver's licence
• Good mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work in a busy automotive service environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities

Canadian Tire automotive experience and COSTAR knowledge are assets, but NOT required.
