The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a highly organized Account Manager to join our team in Coquitlam, British Columbia. As the Account Manager you will be responsible for prospecting new clients, building relationships and managing the current portfolio.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Handle inbound sales calls with confidence, providing tailored product and service recommendations, pricing information, and solutions based on each client's specific needs and interests.
• Accurately collect, verify, and maintain customer information, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, and payment details within the CRM system.
• Leverage strong telephone sales and relationship-building skills to prospect for new customers and develop long-term client relationships through both warm and cold leads.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by sourcing qualified prospects through internet research, trade shows, networking, and other lead-generation channels.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records for leads, opportunities, quotes, and orders, ensuring consistent and timely client communication throughout the entire sales cycle.
• Address customer questions, concerns, and objections professionally and proactively, building trust and protecting the company's reputation.
• Consistently go above and beyond to achieve or exceed sales targets, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and generate opportunities for repeat and future business.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• 1-2 years of experience with a client services or telemarketing role and/or post-secondary education in Business, Sales or Marketing with a proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas
• Experience using a CRM system or a similar database are considered a major asset
• Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and with experience using
• Knowledge of skilled in negotiation and mitigation tactics
• Highly organized, a dependable self-starter with good time management skills

The base pay range for this role is: $45,000 annual base salary plus uncapped commission.

This is a hybrid role based in Coquitlam, BC.
