TOR Properties is a family-owned organization based in Alberta and British Columbia, with operations spanning construction, property management, manufacturing, and independent living for seniors. We're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support our Head Office Finance team part-time. Pay Range: $28.00–$31.25/hour
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 15–20 hours/week

What You'll Do:
  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time — wages, salaries, bonuses, and deductions
  • Review timesheets, maintain payroll records, and conduct regular payroll audits
  • Handle statutory remittances (income tax, CPP, EI, Employer Health Tax, WCB)
  • Administer benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and reconciliations
  • Support employees with payroll/benefits questions and provide ADP guidance
  • Lead year-end payroll activities, including T4 prep and reconciliations
  • Prepare and post payroll journal entries and related accruals
  • Reconcile payroll and benefit-related general ledger accounts
What You Bring:
  • 2+ years of payroll experience, including ownership of payroll accuracy and remittances
  • PCP (Payroll Compliance Professional) certification preferred
  • Solid understanding of payroll legislation
  • Strong Excel skills; Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Advanced attention to detail
  • Experience with ADP or similar software (required)
  • High accuracy, discretion, and organization — this role handles confidential info daily
  • Comfortable managing deadlines independently with minimal oversight
