Field Welder

Welding repairs to Recycling containers /Recycling equipment/grates/railings (parts are manufactured in shop, welder describes the parts to the shop then picks them up and installs on site, this welder will not need to fabricate all parts but must be able to explain them through measurements) Evaluate repairs at site, use of cutting torches and welder to perform various repairs Use various hand and power hand tools Prepare and submit Service orders with clear communication, verbal and written Qualifications Experienced in Arc/Stick welding Ability to read and interpret shop drawings Demonstrates a strong commitment to quality workmanship Willingness to work overtime when needed Ability to travel to multiple locations throughout the day, work independently and unsupervised in a company vehicle Excellent verbal communication skills, professional appearance, positive attitude, and a safety-first mindset Comfortable working in all weather conditions year-round, wearing protective clothing while working in or near garbage, recycling, or compost material Requirements: Must have own welding helmet/apron Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
