Job Summary:
As a Lift Experience Assistant Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations in the Lift Experience department. Your duty is to supervise role expectations and personal accountability with safety, customer service and operational excellence for the Lift Experience Team. You will supervise all positions in Lift Experience, as well as conduct and coordinate department administration as required.
Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $25.00 - $32.73
- Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
- Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations such as maintaining daily lift documentation, scheduling staff and owning the execution of opening and closing procedures in your zone.
- Follow all uniform and grooming expectations and be the example for the team to follow.
- Assist with hiring, support, and training of employees in daily operations, service and safety
- Monitor and document lift experience employee's performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, providing recognition or correction action if necessary
- Hold Lead Hands accountable for their areas and help to coach and develop their leadership skills.
- Continuously train, coach and mentor returning and new staff. Motivate, reward, and encourage all employees.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of and enforce all applicable laws, policies, and procedures to ensure the safety of all guests in accordance with TSBC and Z-98.
- Works closely with Ski Patrol, Mountain Safety, Lift Maintenance, and Electrical Maintenance to assist and resolve any problems that may arise on the mountain. Maintains good relationships with Snow School, Snow Surfaces and F&B teams.
- Promote clean and organized workstations and helps to maintain surrounding areas.
- Receive and assess guest questions, comments and complaints while providing timely resolutions
- Assist with operational duties when needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Possess a valid BC driver's license
- 1-2 years of previous lift or mountain operations experience preferred
- Proficient use of MS Office
- Good communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
- Self-motivated, able to use initiative to find solutions, team player, there is no manual for this role!
- Must be able to stand outside in a mountain environment for long periods of time
The expected pay range is $25.00 - $32.73. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
