As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a Janitor to join our team in Port Alberni, BC. This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to build a rewarding, long-term career close to home while working as part of a collaborative local team at one of the Alberni Valley's largest and fastest-growing employers.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM:

• Perform general cleaning of the building to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms.
• Collect and properly dispose of trash and waste materials.
• Clean spills using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Perform minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks.
• Monitor building condition and report major repair needs to management.
• Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Ability to safely handle a variety of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
• Experience performing general janitorial and cleaning duties.
• Basic maintenance and repair skills.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks effectively.
