Shipper & Receiver – Mississauga, Ontario:
Job Summary:
We are currently looking for an experienced Shipper & Receiver to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of shipping and receiving experience, a valid forklift license, and a strong work ethic. We are looking for someone interested in a long-term, stable opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, products, and paperwork.
- Prepare, pick, pack, label, and ship outgoing orders.
- Load and unload trucks safely using a forklift.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Ensure products are stored safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
- Valid forklift license/certification is required.
- Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
- Good knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
