Schedule: Day Shift 7:30am – 4:00pm (Overtime may be required)
Reports To: Operations Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient inventory management, and lead a team in a safe, organized, and productive environment.
The ideal candidate has strong warehouse leadership experience, SAP experience, and a practical understanding of equipment and facility maintenance. This role will combine team supervision, inventory control, SAP transactions, and basic maintenance coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, inventory management, cycle counting and material handling.
- Lead, train, schedule, and motivate warehouse employees while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Use SAP to manage inventory transactions, material movements, stock adjustments, and inventory reporting.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts, and physical inventory as required.
- Monitor warehouse organization, housekeeping, and proper storage of materials.
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth material flow.
- Monitor warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, racking, garbage schedule, and other material-handling equipment.
- Perform basic maintenance checks and identify equipment or facility issues requiring repair.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs with internal maintenance personnel or outside contractors.
- Maintain maintenance and inspection records and follow up on outstanding repairs and daily check lists on equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting minor warehouse equipment issues when appropriate.
- Report damaged equipment, safety hazards, and facility maintenance concerns promptly.
- Help implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve inventory accuracy.
- Ensure proper handling of materials and compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare operational reports and communicate warehouse performance, staffing, inventory, and maintenance issues to management.
- Develop KPIs for departmental tracking and evaluation.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of warehouse experience, with supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
- 1+ years SAP experience required.
- Microsoft 365 and experience with SharePoint experience required.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, receiving, shipping, and warehouse processes.
- Experience operating or supervising the use of forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience coordinating or performing minor warehouse/facility maintenance duties.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy and workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with other departments.
Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000
