Carts Collector - Vaughan, ON

7-month contract with the potential to be extended

40 hours per week

Must be available between Mon and Sun, 9am - 10pm, a schedule will be provided

$19.06 per hour

The Opportunity

This is an immediate start! This is a combination role: collecting carts as well as loading/unloading shipments for pickup.

A good attitude and able to communicate with customers when needed. Excellent attendance and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Collect shopping carts from designated areas and return to cart corral.

• Prioritize collections based on high-demand areas and efficiency targets.

• Loads/unloads and take shipments to customers for pickup

• Maintain daily log of carts collected and locations.

• Use provided pipelines or geo-tracking to optimize route planning.

• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and pursue personal growth opportunities.

• Inspect carts for damage and report stainless issues for repair.

• Work within a team to meet daily/weekly cart collection targets.

• Adhere to on-site scheduling and be punctual for shifts.

• Document any incidents or customer complaints for follow-up.

• Escort customers to nearby stores or parking lots when needed.

• Assist with light maintenance, cleaning, and basic equipment care.

Experience/Qualifications

• Experienced in lifting and carrying up to 50lbs

• Ability to collect and return shopping carts to cart corral efficiently.

• Prioritize routes using pipelines or geo-tracking to meet targets.

• Follow safety protocols and operate equipment safely.

• Maintain daily cart collection log with locations and times.

• Punctuality and on-site scheduling adherence for shifts.

• Inspect carts for damage and report issues for repair.

• Document incidents or customer complaints for follow-up.

• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and pursue personal growth opportunities.

• Escort customers to nearby stores or parking lots when needed.

• Assist with light maintenance and basic equipment care.

• Must be dress according to weather and be comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
