Job Details:
The Automotive Master Technician will utilize expert knowledge and advanced diagnostic tools to service a diverse fleet including passenger cars, trucks, SUVs, and commercial vehicles. Operating both independently and as part of a repair team, this role includes supervisory responsibilities and focuses on technical excellence with minimal customer interaction. The technician will employ standard automotive tools to ensure vehicles meet quality and safety standards through thorough inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics for engines, transmissions, electrical and brake systems
- Conduct repairs and replacements with precision and adherence to safety standards
- Schedule and perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Communicate effectively within the repair team and provide technical training
- Ensure quality control and troubleshoot complex automotive issues
- Maintain accurate technical documentation of repairs and services
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automotive repair
- Automotive Technology Certificate or diploma
- ASE Master Technician Certification and 310S Automotive Technician credential
- Expertise in engine diagnostics, transmission repair, brake systems, and automotive electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical documentation abilities
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on minimal interaction
- Effective time management and team collaboration experience
