• Coordinate year-end financial reporting and tax requirements with the company's external accountants.
• Supervise, support and develop the accounting and administrative team.
• Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls, approval procedures and reporting standards.
• Improve accounting processes, reporting tools and financial systems as the company continues to grow.
• Work closely with project managers, estimators, purchasing personnel and field operations to ensure financial information is accurate and complete.

• High degree of accuracy, confidentiality, accountability and professional judgment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet firm weekly and monthly deadlines.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a practical and proactive financial leader who is comfortable working directly with company ownership. This person will not simply report historical results—they will identify potential cash-flow issues, cost overruns and financial risks early and provide clear recommendations for addressing them.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced construction environment where priorities can change quickly and accurate, timely financial information is essential.
