CMM Quality Inspector

Our Client is a custom machine shop that focuses on many services in the agricultural, trucking, lifting and military equipment. We are looking for experienced candidates with a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Due to military parts, the selected candidate will have to complete a background check as well as the controlled goods document prior to starting the position. This device tests the physical and geometric features of an object. The part is placed on a table and then uses a probe to touch and scan the points on the part, taking down measurements to ensure accuracy. Selected candidate MUST have experience with CMM. Duties/Responsibilities: * setting up any equipment or accessories needed * Understand specifications by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings * Safetly and accurately run CMM Qualifications/Requirements: * clear criminal background check (if selected) * controlled goods document (if selected) * eye for detail * strong knowledge of machines * experience as CMM Quality Inspector Resumes will be submitted - client will decide if they'd like to do in person interview.
