An opportunity to join our growing team has become available, and we are currently seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our Human Resources team.

The Opportunity

The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process across the organization. This position will work closely with managers and department leaders to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, source qualified candidates, and support the hiring process from initial contact through onboarding.

The successful candidate will be organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with management to determine hiring needs and staffing requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and campaigns.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, skilled trades, administrative, and professional positions.
  • Develop, post, and maintain job postings on internal and external job boards and media platforms.
  • Create and maintain recruitment-related content and updates for social media platforms.
  • Source candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, referrals, career fairs, direct sourcing, networking, educational institutions, and professional associations.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and interview candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews, skills assessments, and testing as required.
  • Provide candidates and hiring managers with information regarding the interview and selection process.
  • Request and communicate interview feedback and provide candidates with timely updates regarding their application status.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Negotiate employment offers within established company guidelines.
  • Initiate the hiring process in coordination with the HR Assistant.
  • Prepare and submit immigration applications and related documentation for current and future employees.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential recruitment records.
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with applicable Canadian employment and human rights legislation.
  • Support other Human Resources activities and projects as required.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Post-secondary education with a focus on Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2–5 years of proven recruitment experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of high-volume recruitment experience.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing or skilled trades positions is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, including Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation.
  • Strong sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with recruitment platforms such as Indeed and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with management and the HR team.
