Job Summary

We are currently seeking compassionate, energetic, and professional In-Home Childcare Providers (Nannies / Babysitters) to join our growing team. If you are passionate about child development, enjoy creating fun activities, and want a flexible schedule, we would love to meet you.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Provide attentive and safe supervision to children within the comfort of the client's home.
Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities (e.g., arts & crafts, educational games, outdoor play).
Maintain established family routines, including meal/snack preparation, naptime schedules, and bedtime routines.
Assist older children with homework or after-school routine support where required.
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment in all child-related areas.
Maintain clear and professional communication with parents and the Puffin coordination team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Previous experience working as a nanny, babysitter, daycare worker, or teacher's assistant is highly preferred.
Reliability: Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and a deep sense of responsibility.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to connect naturally with children and build trust with parents.
Languages: Fluency in English is required. Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills (e.g., Punjabi, Hindi, Tagalog) are considered a strong asset to support diverse community families.
Certifications (Assets):
Valid First Aid & CPR Certification (Standard Child Care First Aid preferred).
Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle is an asset but not mandatory.
Background Check: Must be willing to clear a comprehensive Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Check) prior to placement.
