The Controller reports directly to the CFO and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable and payroll administration for all branches. Responsibilities * Ensuring accuracy of all accounts payable and accounts receivable * Preparing & analyzing weekly cashflow * Completing bank and credit card reconciliations * Updating quarter end spreadsheets and booking journal entries * Assisting CFO with year end financial reporting * Process and file monthly HST/GST * Human Resources * Preparing bi-weekly payroll * Maintain WCB clearance with all Atlantic provinces Qualifications/Experience * Minimum 3-5 years experience * Knowledge of project billings and hold backs considered an asset * Quick learner that is detailed oriented with good organizational skills * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) * Skillful with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook) * College Degree in Accounting required * Previous experience with Ceridian preferred * Knowledge of Sage50 preferred This is a full-time permanent position, working out of our Dartmouth location.
