JOB PURPOSE: The Aircraft Detailer is responsible for the thorough cleaning and detailing of aircraft interiors and exteriors. This includes washing, waxing, polishing, and buffing surfaces to meet customer specifications and maintain a high standard of appearance. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in varying environmental conditions. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and polish aircraft exteriors and interiors to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Remove dirt, grease, and debris from aircraft surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and techniques.
• Apply polishes, waxes, and protective coatings to aircraft surfaces.
• Buff and polish surfaces to achieve a high-gloss finish.
• Apply decals and striping as required.
• Inspect aircraft for damage and report findings to supervisors.
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and supplies in a clean and orderly manner.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Aviation experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Being mechanically inclined is considered an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely use ladders.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
