The shift is Monday – Thursday, 10-hour days, Friday overtime when required. What's in it for you?Wage commensurate with experienceCompany-matched pension planHealth & Dental BenefitsLife InsuranceShort- & Long-Term Disability InsuranceWhat will you do?Welding component parts proficiently using MIG and electrode welders Set up of welding fixtures and items as requiredInspect incoming materialFinish welding of assigned parts as per the drawings supplied for the specific partRepair any deficiencies found during the inspectionWelding must be completed in accordance with applicable standards and proceduresEnsure part is complete and ready for the next step in the production processGuiding and liaising with other employees in the work areaEnsuring that work area is kept clean and clear of hazardsEnsuring that correct information is recorded in time and attendance system, as well as the process systemEnsure all work is performed in a safe mannerProper use of shop suppliesParticipate and pass a company internal welding testPerform other duties as assignedWhat do you need to succeed?Grade XII education (or equivalent)Basic welding expertise required, 2+ years of welding experience preferredWelders certificate or ticket an assetExperience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings requiredExperience in the manufacturing sector an assetAbility to keep pace with new manufacturing technology and company requirementsHow to Apply: Once you click on the Apply for this Position button you will be taken to a page where you will have two ways to apply.
