Intern, A&M Tax Canada
About Alvarez & Marsal
Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm with entrepreneurial, action and results-oriented professionals. We take a hands-on approach to solving our clients' problems and assisting them in reaching their potential. Our culture celebrates independent thinkers and doers who positively impact our clients and shape our industry. The collaborative environment and engaging work—guided by A&M's core values of Integrity, Quality, Objectivity, Fun, Personal Reward, and Inclusive Diversity—are why our people love working at A&M.
The Team
The A&M Tax Canada Team is seeking students with an interest in taxation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate advisory services.
The A&M Tax Canada team provides comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services to clients across a broad range of sectors and industries. Our professionals work closely with clients to navigate complex and evolving tax matters affecting their transactions, investments, and ongoing operations. Through our M&A Tax practice, we advise on mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, investment and financing structures, dispositions, and post-transaction activities. We partner with clients before, during, and after transactions to assess tax risks and opportunities, conduct due diligence, and implement practical tax solutions aligned with each organization's business objectives. Through our Core Tax practice, we support clients with tax compliance, reporting, planning, and advisory services that help them meet their ongoing obligations and strategic goals.
We are not a typical tax advisory firm. We are a team of entrepreneurial, action-oriented, and results-driven tax professionals who take a hands-on approach to solving our clients' most complex challenges. We are nimble, resourceful, and proactive, adapting quickly when circumstances change. This internship provides exposure to both transactional and operational tax matters, offering opportunities to work alongside experienced professionals, interact with clients, and take on meaningful responsibilities early in your career. At A&M, we present opportunities, not a playbook, and we reward achievement, not tenure.
