Building Technician

Position: Building Technician Shift: Tuesday-Friday 11:00am-7:30pm and Saturday 8:00am - 4:30pm Location: Port Coquitlam, BC Do you enjoy fixing things, solving problems, and learning new skills? What you'll do:

• Perform regular building inspections and preventative maintenance
• Help maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems
• Work with contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are needed
• Troubleshoot equipment and building issues
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Complete general repairs, including drywall, painting, plumbing, and other basic maintenance
• Keep maintenance records and daily logs up to date
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies
• Support other team members as needed

Do you fit the part?

• You are a high school graduate or equivalent
• You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Hands-on and comfortable using hand and power tools
• Comfortable working on ladders, outdoors, and in various building environments
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Safety minded and able to follow proper procedures
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification is an asset
• You are open to flexible work schedules, including but not limited to overtime and weekend shifts
• Must be able to work full time.
