The Opportunity
We're seeking a motivated Project Coordinator with experience in residential construction or project coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You'll play an important role in keeping projects organized and running smoothly—helping site teams, trades, suppliers, clients, and internal departments stay connected and aligned.
As a Project Coordinator at Dilworth Homes, you will coordinate schedules, documentation, procurement, budgets, and project communications. You'll monitor costs and timelines, process invoices, prepare reports, maintain project records and forecasts, and help ensure each project remains aligned with its scope and budget. With a proactive, detail-oriented approach, you'll support the safe and efficient delivery of residential construction projects while upholding Dilworth Homes' quality standards.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project meetings, schedules, documentation, and communication among site teams, trades, suppliers, clients, and internal departments.
- Maintain project records, including scopes, specifications, selections, change orders, purchase orders, invoices, meeting minutes, and action items.
- Monitor project budgets, committed costs, forecasts, and timelines, identifying variances and supporting corrective action.
- Assist with procurement by requesting quotes, processing purchase orders, and tracking material deliveries.
- Review contracts, purchase orders, drawings, and project scopes to identify missing or inconsistent information.
- Support project planning, construction, client handovers, and warranty processes while upholding Dilworth Homes' quality standards.
- Proactively identify coordination gaps, resolve project-related issues, and support continuous process improvement.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in residential construction, project coordination, or construction administration is considered an asset.
- Experience with residential construction estimating, takeoffs, budget allowances, or scope review is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and project management software.
- Strong organizational, mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's licence, clean driver's abstract, and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
