Job Summary:
The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical and mechanical components and finished products according to established work instructions, drawings, and quality standards. The role involves working within a production environment, using hand and light power tools, performing basic product testing and inspection, and ensuring completed products meet production and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical components according to work instructions and drawings.
  • Perform repetitive assembly operations while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
  • Use hand tools and light power tools such as screwdrivers, drills, crimpers, and other assembly equipment.
  • Perform visual inspections and basic functional testing of assembled products.
  • Identify defective components, assembly issues, or quality concerns and report them to the appropriate team.
  • Follow established safety procedures, production processes, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation using 5S principles.
  • Package completed products and prepare them for shipment when required.
  • Record production, inspection, and testing information accurately.
  • Work with production and quality teams to resolve assembly or manufacturing issues.
  • Meet established production, quality, and safety targets.


Typical Requirements:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or a similar hands-on environment.
  • Experience using hand tools or light power tools.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, or assembly procedures.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive work accurately.
  • Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge is an asset.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle production-related physical requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is typically preferred.
