Warehouse General Labor - (2045)

A prestigious multinational company specializing in warehouse project management is seeking Temporary Full-Time Workers to assist with the setup of a warehouse for one of the largest retail e-commerce companies. This is a 2-week assignment with possible extension in London, ON

• Shift: 12pm - 9pm
• Break: 1-hour unpaid
• Starting Date: Monday August 24th
• August 24th to September 9th
• (2 weeks subject to change)
• Pay Rate: $22/per hour

Responsibilities

• Use of arming drills, anchor drills, and rubber hammers.
• Moderate weightlifting and unpacking.
• Work with conveyers
• Bending work many times a day and moderate weightlifting.
• Some days of assembling boxes and weighing them.
• Measure and mark the floor with high-resistivity industrial tape.
• Long standing and walking periods
• Requires work in a crouched position.
• Installation of sticker-type signs and banners that require measurement and accuracy,

Requirements

• Performing work in compliance with safety procedures and the code of conduct
• Be willing to go through a background check and safety training
• Good sight and hearing abilities
• Be able to stand and walk for long periods and lift moderate weight
• Team player, able to cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Able to follow instructions and perform different general labor duties as assigned
• Must be committed to remaining at the job for the duration of the project
• Must be dynamic, responsible, reliable, who can keep up good attendance
• The worker is required to have: a high-visibility vest, hard hat, and steel-toe shoes (can be construction sport shoes, Reebok, CAT, etc.), long pants, preferably jeans, not leggings; and use clear backpacks.
