This hands-on role brings together building operations, resident relations, leasing, and tenancy administration within a large, professionally managed rental community.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild positive resident relationships and respond promptly and professionally to questions, concerns, and day-to-day issuesDeliver a consistent resident experience throughout the tenancy, from initial inquiry and move-in through to move-outCoordinate move-ins, move-outs, and unit turnoversMonitor resident accounts, support rent collection processes, and follow up on outstanding balancesComplete minor maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs with vendors as neededParticipate in regular building inspections and prepare required reportsRespond to rental inquiries, conduct suite showings, and support the marketing of available homes to help maintain occupancyMaintain accurate and up-to-date tenancy records, documentation, and internal systemsEnsure work is completed in accordance with company standards and BC's Residential Tenancy ActProvide regular operational updates and reporting to the Resident Manager and head officeWhat You BringExperience in residential building operations, leasing, property management, or a related customer-facing environmentExperience supporting resident relations, rent collection, and day-to-day building operationsWorking knowledge of BC's Residential Tenancy ActAbility to complete minor maintenance tasks and identify when vendor support is requiredStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing prioritiesClear and professional written and verbal communication skillsSound judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling resident mattersProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience with property management or CRM systems is considered an assetApply today!
This is a full-time, permanent role based on-site at a property in Victoria, BC.
The salary range is $50,000.00–$60,000.00 per year.
Responsibilities include building positive resident relationships, responding to inquiries, coordinating move-ins/outs and turnovers, monitoring accounts, supporting rent collection, completing minor maintenance, and preparing reports for the Resident Manager.
Experience in residential building operations, leasing, property management, or a related customer-facing environment is required, along with supporting resident relations and day-to-day operations.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, clear written and verbal communication, ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and knowledge of BC's Residential Tenancy Act are emphasized.
